Events

The League of Women Voters of New Ulm will host a three-part public event series this winter titled “Meet Your Local Elected Officials.” The first session will feature New Ulm’s Mayor and City Council members on Monday, January 12, from 7–8 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers. The event will be broadcast live on NUCAT and recorded for later viewing on the community access channel and YouTube.

This kickoff event gives the Mayor and City Councilors an opportunity to share their perspectives on key 2025 council highlights, current issues facing the City, the impacts of state and federal decision-making on New Ulm, and the priorities and projects they look forward to advancing in the coming year.

The second session in the series will highlight the New Ulm School Board on Monday, February 9th. The Brown County Commissioners will be featured in the third session on a date to be determined in March. All community members are encouraged to attend these free and informative events.
